CONCEPT TO CAMPAIGN
Ring's End hardware store ad campaign

Ring's End Makeover

Ring's End is a hardware chain with 22 stores across Connecticut and New York. Most of their sales come from professional contractors. The client wanted a 360˚ campaign that would attract more consumer business and differentiate them from the big box stores, such as Home Depot and Lowes. I created this campaign with Marc Borelli, who also handled the art direction. Below are the three campaign concepts presented to the client. Toggle through the choices.

Selected Concept

Client chose the RElove Your Home idea (Concept 3) based on the key insight that many homeowners inwardly realize their house could use some freshening up. (Also because the letters RE are the initials of Ring's End, which provides additional branding.)

Print

Monthly magazine ads to introduce and support the campaign. Toggle through the ads.

Out of Home

A series of high-visibility billboards and train platform posters. Ring's End maximizes their ad spend by leveraging co-op dollars from key product manufacturers. Advertising materials are created with these partnerships in mind.

Digital

The RElove Your Home campaign was integrated into all online touchpoints – social media, retail website and contractor communications. Take a look.

In-Store Retail

The campaign was brought to life in store with signage that reinforced Ring's End's commitment to quality, service and satisfaction.
